ECM Originator, Mumbai, India, $Highly Competitive
A leading US investment
bank offers a unique opportunity for a senior ECM Originator to head up its
Mumbai operation. The opportunity will involve heading up a team of 6
originating and structuring deals to corporate clients and financial
institutions in India and South East Asia.
Role will
involve:
-Originating,
structuring and syndicating ECP IPO/ Block trades to mid cap and large cap
corporate clients in South East Asia,
-Driving the business
forward and pitching business with the sales team,
-Marketing, structuring
and execution of equity finance deals,
-Involvement in the
M&A process.
This position requires a
strong skills set and work history:
-It is essential to be
working in ECM origination or ECM syndication,
-It is essential to have
either a strong exposure to the Indian market or a strong exposure to the
South Asian clients,
-Transactions will
include IPOS/block trades/convertible bonds/stock buy back/equity
offerings so a solid background and understanding of this arena is important,
-Local languages and
work history is the main requirement for this position,
-Any existing
relationships with clients and proven transaction list are highly
desirable.
