Sales, Commodity sales to PAN European corporates, London, £Highly Competitive
Our client, a multinational trading house with offices globally is expanding its growth.
The London based team structures and sells commodity products to PAN European corporate clients, including small caps, mid caps and large caps as well as Small Medium Enterprises (SME).
The markets they cover include the German, French, Benelux, Eastern European/Russian, Iberian (Spain, Portugal, Andorra), Scandinavian (Swedish, Danish, Finnish, Norwegian) and the Italian market. This is an international and multicultural platform and they are now looking to add an entrepreneurial, strong sales person with a proven track record in commodity sales (ideally on Energy and/or metals) covering corporate clients in at least two of the above markets.
Key responsibilities:
-Pricing and Distributing Commodity Derivatives to international small, mid cap and large cap corporate clients in Europe,
-Product coverage includes Energy, Coal, Carbon, Gas, Metals, Mining,
-Contacting the existing client base and expanding it through new contacts,
-Understanding of client requirements, developing relationships with existing client base, monitoring market for spotting and approaching prospects,
-Centralizing product ideas from various sales channels and external clients in developing competitive/timely products for sales promotion.
Skills required:
-Proven track record in Commodity sales (ideally Energy, Gas or Metals) – candidates with experience in soft commodities in a dynamic environment will also be considered,
-A good knowledge of one of the European markets (ideally German, Austrian, Swiss or Russian/Eastern European),
-Strong sales and communication skills,
-Fluency in English and one more European language.
